We are proud to be currently partnering with two of last years’ grant winners, Modesto Reservoir and Woodward Reservoir. At these sights we perform high profile inspection services utilizing our canines as well as boater education on Clean Drain and Dry. We also are very proud of our partnership with Lake Sonoma and Lake Mendocino where we perform inspection and educational services throughout the boating season. Our canines inspected over 3,000 watercrafts this year and spread the Clean Drain and Dry message to over 15,000 people. Mussel Dogs is also proud to have published a chapter on Utilizing Canines in the Detection of Quagga and Zebra Mussels in the newly published Biology and Management of Invasive Quagga and Zebra Mussels in the Western United States book.
